Regina police are investigating the city’s fourth homicide of 2025 after officers found a man dead early Friday morning.
At around 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a call for service on Marshall Crescent. When they arrived, they found a deceased man, later identified as 22-year-old Wahkia Ewalk.
Police secured the area and brought in members from the Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. Investigators confirmed that Ewalk’s death was a homicide. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
Police are asking people who live in the area between 1st Avenue North, Forget Street, 3rd Avenue North, and Osborne Crescent to check their security cameras.
