The Saskatchewan Roughriders are facing the BC Lions at Mosaic for the team’s annual kisiskâciwan game, as the team celebrates the richness and vibrancy of Indigenous culture.
You will notice the indigenous logo Designed by Chris Chipak of the Red Pheasant Cree Nation (Treaty 6). It highlights the connection to the land, people, and traditions of Saskatchewan’s Indigenous communities. The original all-green version of the Indigenous logo was announced in September of last year and embraced by Rider Nation. It will remain the logo featured on our helmets for this weekend’s kisiskâciwan game. The first 5,000 fans through the gates will get a Rider Flag with that logo on it. The first 15,000 fans will get a buff from SIGA featuring the indigenous logo as well.

Before the game, the Party In the Park gets rolling at 2:00pm in Confederation Park, highlights include a traditional tipi and educational booth hosted by First Nations University, as well as hands-on language and dance instruction provided by the Newo Yotina Friendship Centre. There will also be the usual assortment of inflatables, face painting and balloon artists for the kids.
Gates open at 3:30pm.
