Buckle Up! The grid iron takes on a country theme this Friday. Karina Peterson stops by before Saskatchewan Roughrider home games to give us insight into what is taking place at Mosaic Stadium prior to the game. The Roughriders have “gone country” and why not? Justin LaBrash is going to be the half time entertainment. Coors Light Party in the Park is a great way to amp up before the game, $5 beer, music and events for everyone to enjoy. A stop to the mobile Rider Store in Confederation Park, something to eat before the game and a visit from the 620 CKRM Saskatchewan Roughrider Pep Band and cheer team. What’s not to love about the pre-game party. Roughrider fans from across the province, the country and the world have a chance to gather under those great prairie skies, even if you do not have a game day ticket. BUT, why would you not just grab a ticket at the gate and come on in. This match up between the Riders and the Stamps promises to be a good one. The rivalry re-ignited with some former Saskatchewan players now dressed in Red and White.
FAN BASE: let’s get loud and bring home another win! When you’re hot, you’re hot, RIGHT? The merch item of the weekend is the Ridgeway cowboy hat available at the store. The dress code is the alternate jersey, you know the Obsidian green!
Here’s Karina with the details:
