MOOSE JAW–The City of Moose Jaw is ramping up efforts to complete its Smart Water Meter Project by reaching out directly to residents who have not yet scheduled their mandatory meter upgrade.
Starting this week, the City’s contractor, Neptune Technology Group, will begin distributing door hangers to properties that still need to book an appointment. The installation is required under City By-Law #5152 and is being offered at no cost to property owners.
What You Need to Know
- Installation Time: 30 to 90 minutes
- Temporary Water Shut-Off: Yes, during installation
- Cost: Free
- Appointment Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Residents are asked to book their appointment within one week of receiving a letter or door hanger. Failure to do so may result in penalties, including the potential termination of water service.
