An air quality advisory is now in place for Regina down south to the US border and west to the Alberta border.
Wildfire smoke that’s been plaguing north and central Saskatchewan today is expected to drift into our area tonight and could stick around until Tomorrow.
As smoke levels rise, so does the health risk. People are advised to limit time outdoors and think about changing plans for outdoor sports or activities. Some may feel mild symptoms like eye irritation, headaches or a cough.
Those with health conditions, seniors and young children should take extra care and stay indoors as much as possible.
