Some great events on the way

In support of the Regina general Hospital, Mother Baby Unit, in honor of Sally Elliott, Over the Hill Orchards and Winery is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Ladybug Picnic Festival. This festival will take place on August 23, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The festival will feature local vendors, bookable picnics and experiences, and wine and pie on our patio while enjoying local musicians. The storefront of the winery will be open, and mini-sampling will be available for guests to try in-house wines.

Jars of Ladybugs will be available for purchase for guests to take home and release in their yard, or to release in the orchard while they are there with proceeds going to the Mother Baby Unit.

Book a Ladybug Picnic: Reserve your perfect picnic spot in advance, and we have all you need to soak in the Qu’Appelle Valley views. Included are picnic essentials, a bottle of wine, cheese board and of course, ladybugs!

*Reservation recommended, running all day from 10am – 5pm, $70/picnic

 Shop & Sip: Relax and savor the joys of summer on our patio and browse local artisans and vendor market.

 Ladybug Card Painting with Artist Brittany Perry: Join us at the Ladybug Picnic Festival for a creative and fun-filled Ladybug Card Painting Class with local artist Brittany Perry! This class will be hosted at 1 PM, making it easy to fit into your festival schedule. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this class is perfect for all ages.

Ladybug Ladderball Competition: A friendly, fun-filled ladderball tournament held as part of the Ladybug Picnic Festival.
Proceeds from team entry fees will be donated to the Mother Baby Unit at the Regina General Hospital. Teams of two will compete in a round-robin style tournament with a 8-team bracket, crowning the ultimate Ladybug Ladderball Champions!
