A 34-year-old man is facing charges after RCMP responded to reports of a fight involving weapons in Roblin.
Police say they were called to Princess Street on Aug. 13 at about 3:55 p.m. after receiving reports that three people were fighting and possibly armed with bats, knives and a gun.
When officers arrived, they were told that an injured man had been seen walking through the community carrying a firearm.
Two people involved in the altercation were found and spoken to, with no injuries reported.
Police later located the suspect at a home on Park Street, where he was arrested without incident. Officers seized a replica firearm, later determined to be an airsoft gun.
Gene Leshchyshyn, 34, of Roblin, has been charged with uttering threats and several firearm-related offences. He was remanded into custody.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
