Approximately 54,000 students are beginning post-secondary classes across Saskatchewan this fall, bringing energy and optimism to communities throughout the province.
The Government of Saskatchewan is reminding students there is still time to access financial supports as the 2025-26 academic year begins.
More than $46 million in loans, grants and scholarships will be delivered to help with tuition, books and living expenses, making education more affordable and accessible. Advanced Education Minister Ken Cheveldayoff said investing in students is critical to building Saskatchewan’s future workforce.
Graduates who choose to remain in the province may also be eligible to receive up to $24,000 through the Graduate Retention Program, a tax rebate for living and working in Saskatchewan.
Officials say post-secondary education plays a key role in the province’s labour market strategy and growth plan, helping prepare a new generation of leaders for a prosperous future.
