ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service (EPS) has concluded an investigation into a series of indecent acts reported in August.
According to a news release posted Sept. 7, police received multiple reports regarding an adult male exhibiting concerning behaviour at various stores in Estevan. Following an investigation, the EPS said a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with four counts of committing an indecent act under the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to make his first court appearance in October in Estevan Provincial Court.
The Estevan Police Service reminds the public to report suspicious behaviour as soon as possible and, when safe to do so, to provide investigators with detailed descriptions or observations. The EPS said this information is critical in helping officers identify individuals, especially in cases where a suspect leaves the area before police arrive.
