SASKATOON — A man is facing multiple charges after police witnessed him attempting a drug transaction over the weekend.
Shortly after 10 a.m. on Sept. 7, Saskatoon Police were in the area of 23rd Street East and Third Avenue North when they observed a man attempting to complete a drug deal.
The man initially resisted arrest, prompting other officers to assist in taking him into custody.
He was found in possession of 4.13 grams of methamphetamine, bear spray and a knife.
The 23-year-old is charged with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, and two counts of possession of a concealed weapon.
