SASKATOON — A man is facing several charges after robbing a liquor store Sunday evening.
Around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 7, police received reports that a man had entered a liquor store in the 100 block of Gibson Bend and attempted to steal several bottles of alcohol.
When confronted by staff, the man brandished bear spray before fleeing on foot.
Following an investigation, police located a man matching the suspect description and took him into custody. He was found to be concealing a can of bear spray in his waistband.
The 18-year-old is charged with robbery, concealing his identity, possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
