HALL LAKE — Update Sept. 15: La Ronge RCMP arrested Gerry Roberts on Sept. 11.
Original post Sept. 10: A man is wanted following a robbery in Hall Lake.
On Sept. 8, at approximately 8:10 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of a robbery at a business in Hall Lake.
Investigation determined two males entered the business, threatened employee and stole a sum of money and cigarettes. The two males left the business on foot. No physical injuries were reported to police.
As a result of investigation, an adult male was arrested at a residence on Grace Roberts Crescent in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band community of Hall Lake.
43-year-old Gerry Roberts from the La Ronge detachment area is charged with one count, robbery and one count, fail to comply with release order condition.
A warrant has been issued for Robert's arrest. La Ronge RCMP continue work to locate Roberts and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts.
Roberts is described as:
- Height: approximately 6’1”
- Weight: heavy build
- Eye colour: brown, may be wearing glasses
- Hair colour and style: black, short
- Other descriptors: tattoo on his right forearm
La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate.
