SASKATOON — Saskatoon RCMP are currently on the scene of a serious collision on Highway 219, approximately 10 kilometres south of Saskatoon near Township Road 352. The highway is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time, say police.
Nipawin RCMP are currently on the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Highway 35, approximately 18 kilometres south of Nipawin
In both cases, detours are in place and motorists should expect delays in the area. Police ask that drivers please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel.
Officers on scene report that visibility is reduced due to heavy fog, with zero visibility in some areas. Other areas of the province may also be experiencing foggy conditions. Police say if you are travelling, reduce your speed and drive with caution.
Police say that as these investigation is in preliminary stages, they do not have additional details to share at this time.
