REGINA — An 18-year-old and a 13-year-old boy are facing charges after an 11-year-old was robbed Wednesday evening.
According to Regina police, at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Sept. 10, police were dispatched to a report of a robbery in the 100 block of Brotherton Avenue. The 11-year-old male victim told police that he and a second male were approached by the two suspects who began pushing one of the males. They then threatened the victim, saying they had a gun. The two suspects then took a sweater and a backpack, which contained a wallet, from the victim.
At approximately 9:40 p.m., police located the suspects in the 1800 block of Prince of Wales Drive. The youth, who can’t be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, and Colby Cameron, are charged with robbery.
Cameron appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Sept. 11.
