ISLAND LAKE FIRST NATION — Update Sept. 18: Pierceland RCMP arrested Tamarah Dillon on Sept. 14, near Cold Lake, Alta. She is scheduled to appear in Pierceland Provincial Court on Oct. 7.
Loon Lake RCMP continue working to locate Frederick Derocher and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts.

Original story Sept. 13: Warrants have been issued for Frederick Derocher and Tamarah Dillon's arrest after an attempted robbery with a firearm. Loon Lake RCMP are working to locate them and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on their whereabouts.
On Sept. 12, Loon Lake RCMP received a report of an attempted robbery with a firearm on Island Lake First Nation, also known as Ministikwan.
Police say they determined an interaction occurred between two males and a female in which the female and one of the males pointed a firearm at the male victim. The firearm was not discharged. There were no physical injuries reported.
Police say the female and male left the residence in a Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck, model year 2009 to 2014. It has a two-tone styled paint job – grey on the rocker panels and red above.
As a result of further investigation, 31-year-old Frederick Derocher from Island Lake First Nation and 32-year-old Tamarah Dillon of Onion Lake First Nation are each charged with:
- one count, robbery with a firearm;
- one count, pointing a firearm;
- one count, use of an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence;
- one count, possession of a firearm or weapon contrary to order; and
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Frederick Derocher is described as approximately 5’10” and 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Tamarah Dillon is described as approximately 5’5” and 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
