MOOSOMIN — Update 2: A male youth was arrested by officers without incident in Rocanville.
No charges have been laid at this time and updates will be provided as polcie are able.
Investigators do not believe there is any further risk to public safety associated with this incident at this time.
Update 1: Police are currently searching for the male north of Highway 601, northwest of Rocanville.
Original post: Around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning Moosomin/Broadview RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle from the Rocanville area. The stolen vehicle ended up in the ditch near Highway 719 and rural road 1321.
RCMP are seeking an adult male believed to be involved in this incident. The adult male is wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, is 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and is believed to be on foot in this area near Rocanville.
If you see him, do not approach and report all sightings to police immediately. Lock vehicle and house doors.
Call 911 in an emergency or 310-RCMP in non-emergencies.
If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, RCMP say they will notify the public immediately.
