REGINA – A fifth person has been charged following a six-week investigation into a firearms offence that left an 11-year-old girl seriously injured.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Aug. 11. Regina Police Service officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of Edgar Street shortly after 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found a young girl inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
On Sept. 25, a fifth suspect, 29-year-old Amber Jensen was charged with accessory after the fact and conspiracy to commit murder.
Jensen appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Sept. 25.
Four others were previously charged, including Noah Pollock-Mayer, 18, Michael Mayer, 41, Anthony Nahbexie, 20, and Devon Nahbexie, 18.
