STURGEON LAKE FIRST NATION — Four people were apprehended and arrested by Prince Albert RCMP after an armed robbery, and one man, still at large, Toby Daniels, is being sought.
On Sept. 23, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a robbery on Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Police say investigation determined a female was approached by a group of individuals outside a residence on Sturgeon Lake First Nation. A man pointed a firearm at the female and demanded the keys to her truck and the group of individuals left in the stolen vehicle.
Officers responded and made patrols in the surrounding area in search for the stolen vehicle and about two hours later they a located a woman on a grid road on Wahpeton First Nation, who they was arrested at the scene. Shortly after, officers located and arrested two men and another woman at a residence on Wahpeton First Nation. Police say the suspects had abandoned the stolen vehicle behind a residential property and broke into the residence.
A 20-year-old woman from Sturgeon Lake First Nation is charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order condition. She was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Prince Albert RCMP.
A 23-year-old woman and 25-year-old man, both from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, are each charged with one count of break and enter.
A 32-year-old Sturgeon Lake First Nation man is charged with:
- one count, break and enter;
- one count, using an imitation firearm in an offence; and
- one count, robbery with a weapon.
Twenty-seven-year-old Toby Daniels from Sturgeon Lake First Nation is charged with:
- one count, using an imitation firearm in an offence; and
- one count, robbery with a weapon.
A warrant has been issued for Toby Daniels’s arrest. Prince Albert RCMP are working to locate Toby Daniels and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts.

- Weight: 130 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour and style: brown
