WHITEWOOD — An investigation is underway following a vehicle fire in Whitewood.
According to a post on the Whitewood Fire Department’s Facebook page, on Oct. 1 at 6:50 a.m., members were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the southwest corner of the town in the old town dump yard.
The vehicle was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene, but they were able to quickly extinguish the flames. The vehicle was a complete loss.
The department said the fire is considered suspicious and is being investigated by the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA), the fire department and Broadview RCMP.
