Also, the panel talks about canola prices – cash prices and on the futures market – had a rough week due to various factors, as well as Ralph Goodale's intentions to step back from his role as Canada's High Commissioner to the U.K. and return home.
Farm Credit Canada released its mid-year farmland values report with Saskatchewan experiencing a six per cent increase in the value of land in the first six months of the year.
Finally, Kevin Hursh, the Chief Agricultural Editor of SaskAgToday.com, shared his experience at the Yorkton Brick Mill Heritage Society's annual dinner, where he was a guest speaker.
