NORTH BATTLEFORD – Update: RCMP say residents on the 1200 block of 110th Street in North Battleford can expect a continued increased police presence in the area.
On Oct. 6, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a shooting at a residence on the 1200 block of 110th Street on the east side of North Battleford. When officers arrived at the residence, say police, they located two men with gunshot wounds. They were transported to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

People are asked to avoid the areas where police officers are present and follow any police direction provided.
Police say they will provide an update on this investigation as soon as they are able.
If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, police will notify the public.
