REGINA – A man charged with second-degree murder in the July death of 42-year-old Stephanie Coady will remain in custody until his case has gone through the courts.
During Lyle Turcotte’s appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Sept. 29, a warrant of committal was issued. He is now scheduled back in court on Oct. 20 to have his charges spoken to.
The charge against Turcotte stems from July 25 when Regina Police Service officers and EMS responded to a home in the North Central neighbourhood for a report of an injured woman. They found Coady deceased at the scene.
A second individual, Brandi Schile, 39, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder. She is in Regina Provincial Court Wednesday afternoon to have her matter spoken to.
