Not sure what happened with Toronto Blue Jays starter Trey Yesavage last night?

In my opinion, he lost his rhythm he had going with the Yankee’s matchup. Seems like he waited longer on the mound to deliver his pitches. Against the Yankees the average time left on the pitch clock was 7/8 secs…..last night it was 2/3 seconds. I think someone told him to slow his game down and it gave him too much time to overthink his delivery and pitch dynamics (the biomechanics, phases, and forces a pitcher uses to deliver a ball with velocity and accuracy). He just looked out of tune/rhythm. Just my opinion.
We’re still thinking we can come back in this series as the Jays always play well in Seattle’s T-Mobile Park. We need to start swinging with conviction and a little more aggression on the first pitch. Majority of pitchers want to start their count with a strike because they have more options after that. The Jays need to gear up for that first pitch, if it’s in the zone. Couple of occasions last night we should of bunted when the infielders were playing deep.
Just my opinion. Game 3 Wednesday at 6pm.
