REGINA — The City of Regina is beginning its fall sweeping.
On Thursday, the city will start sweeping areas, including the Crescent, Cathedral, Lakeview, North Central, and General Hospital, to help prevent clogged storm drains and street flooding.
The sweeps will occur on Monday to Friday from 4 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Oct. 29, weather permitting.
The city is encouraging residents to watch for signs and park off the street during sweep days.
Residents can also access the free Regina Sweep and Plow app on Apple or Android devices. By inputting an address, an alert will appear for residents to indicate when they should move their vehicles.
