Regina police have charged a woman following an armed robbery at a business in the Rosemont neighbourhood Regina.
Police say they received a report on Sept. 8 at about 11:50 a.m. regarding a robbery that occurred the previous day.
According to investigators, shortly after 3 p.m. on Sept. 7, a woman entered a business in the 4400 block of Fourth Avenue and began taking items from the shelves. When confronted by staff, the suspect allegedly produced a knife and attempted to stab the employee before fleeing the store.
On Oct. 15, the 49 year-oldĀ suspect was located and arrested without incident.
She is charged with robbery and possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
The accused made her first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Oct. 16.
