ESTEVAN — A man wanted by the Southey RCMP was recently arrested in southeast Saskatchewan.
According to information released by the Saskatchewan RCMP on Oct. 30, Cordell Daae was apprehended by members of the Estevan RCMP in Macoun on Oct. 14. Daae then appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Oct. 20, and was released with conditions.
His next court appearance is slated for Nov. 25 in Weyburn.
In a news release issued Aug. 18, the RCMP said its Southey detachment was asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of Daae.
He was wanted on warrant by the Southey RCMP for charges including impaired operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police and failure to appear in court. These charges were laid in relation to a July 9, 2023, investigation.
The Southey RCMP was working to locate him and asked the public to call police if they see him or know where he is.
The RCMP said Daae was known to travel frequently around southern Saskatchewan and has connections to the Beaubier area.
