NORTH BATTLEFORD – A 26-year-old man facing more than a dozen sex-related charges involving minors had an appearance scheduled in North Battleford Provincial Court on Oct. 29.
Blaisen Nicotine’s matter was adjourned to Nov. 26. He is charged with sexual assault, making child pornography, distributing child pornography, and possessing child pornography. Police say one incident occurred at a school.
He also charged with sexual assault of a youth under 16 in November 2024. In that incident he is also charged with making child pornography, possessing child pornography and distributing child pornography, and communicating with a person under the age of 18 for the purpose facilitating a sexual offence to make child pornography.
A publication ban is in place to protect the identities of the victims.
Nicotine remains in custody since his arrest in February.
