Unity report – Oct. 21 to 27
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a health care professional.
Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.
RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a farm near Tramping Lake. This matter is still under investigation.
Members attended the sudden death of a 79-year-old male from the Tramping Lake area. The death was not suspicious in nature.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Unity Health Centre for assessment.
Members received a request from Emergency Medical Services to assist with a patient.
RCMP received a report of a fire near Denzil. The fire was extinguished by the Macklin Fire Department and was not suspicious in nature.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Unity Health Centre for assessment.
Members issued two 60-day roadside suspensions during a traffic stop this week.
A 39-year-old male from Unity was charged with assault causing bodily harm after members received a complaint of assault.
Police received a complaint of defamatory libel, but it was unfounded.
RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
Members are investigating a Mental Health Act complaint.
Police rescued a cat stuck in an abandoned building.
There was also one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.
Wilkie report
RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious individual running down the street in Wilkie. Members located the subject of complaint and transported them to a residence to be in the care of a family member.
Members executed an arrest warrant at the request of the Saskatoon Police Service.
Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.
RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious individual near a residence. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battleford Detachment to be lodged in cells until sober.
CN Police reported a railway malfunction at Reford. Reported for information purposes.
RCMP received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. This matter is still under investigation.
CP Police reported two individuals near the railway tracks in Wilkie. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.
A 42-year-old female from Wilkie was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, resisting a peace officer and failing to comply with an undertaking condition. A 40-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with operation while prohibited after members initiated a traffic stop.
Police received a complaint of property damage at a business. This matter is still under investigation.
There were also two traffic complaints and one false alarm.
Macklin report
RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at Macklin Lake Regional Park, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a complaint of a stolen truck. The vehicle was later located burned in a rural area near Provost. Insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.
RCMP received a complaint of criminal harassment, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
A 23-year-old male from Macklin was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and mischief after members received a complaint of a vehicle collision with a residence fence.
Members attended the sudden death of a 47-year-old male from Macklin. The death was not suspicious in nature.
There was also one false 911 call and one false alarm.
