REGINA – A scheduled show-cause hearing did not proceed Thursday for the individual facing a manslaughter charge connected to the death of a woman killed on a highway near Weyburn.
The matters for Chris Fahlman were instead adjourned Thursday, and are set to return to Regina provincial court at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Fahlman is charged in connection to the death of Tanya Myers, who according to the RCMP had been a passenger in a vehicle hit by bullets on Highway 39 near Weyburn on Sept. 12.
According to the RCMP, Fahlman is charged with manslaughter with a firearm, careless use of a firearm, carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, and occupying a motor vehicle knowing there is a firearm inside.
