Over the years the makers of Oreo cookies have created some interesting variations of the traditional Oreo cookie. Some flavours have stuck around like mint, birthday cake, dark chocolate, and fudge-covered. However, there have been flavours that never caught on like strawberry milkshake, green tea, and even Candy Corn flavour.
The cookie makers are back at it again just in time for US Thanksgiving, creating some very strange holiday-themed flavours. Cream corn, turkey and stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potato, pumpkin pie, and caramel apple flavour are all the latest kinds available for sale online. The cookies are dipped in various colours of chocolate to reflect the flavour of each cookies. For example, the cream corn cookie is yellow with a light yellow drizzle on top. The cranberry sauce cookies are red in colour with a light drizzle on top.
According to online reviewers, opinion seems to be split. While many seemed to like the caramel apple pie flavour, others were divided when it came to the cream corn and turkey and stuffing flavours. The Thanksgiving Oreo cookies are only available online in tins of 12. Tins contains two cookies of each flavour and retail for about $28 Canadian, not including shipping costs.
