MAIDSTONE – RCMP in Maidstone and Kitscoty, Alta., are investigating two related break and enters involving a stolen vehicle.
On Nov. 2 at around 11 a.m., Maidstone RCMP received a report of an overnight truck theft from outside a residence in Maidstone. No other items were stolen. The truck is described as a red 2006 Ford F-350 with Sask. licence plate 821 NWG. It has not been located.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, Maidstone RCMP were called to a break and enter at a business in Marshall. The business sustained significant damage; no items were reported stolen.
Investigation determined three suspects fled the scene in two vehicles. The first suspect was driving a vehicle described as an early 2000s, dark-colored Ford pickup truck. They were wearing a grey/ green jacket, black hoodie, grey pants and black shoes.
The second and third suspects fled in the red Ford truck previously reported stolen out of Maidstone. The passenger is described as wearing a black coat and light grey pants with a black stripe on the side. The driver of the truck was wearing a black jacket, grey pants and a ball cap.
All three suspects had their faces covered.
Investigators are working to identify the three suspects.
Around 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 3, RCMP in Kitscoty, Alta., received a report of a break and enter to a business in Paradise Valley, Alta., overnight. Multiple items were reported as stolen. Further investigation determined the suspects and vehicles matched those of the Saskatchewan incidents.
Both Maidstone and Kitscoty RCMP officers continue to investigate the circumstances of these incidents.
