SASKATOON — Two men charged in the death of a 16-year-old boy remain behind bars following separate court appearances.
Osam Alhaj, 20, appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Nov. 12. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to return on Nov. 21. Adam Abdallah Adam, 22, was in court on Nov. 7 and his matter adjourned to Nov. 17.
Alhaj faces a charge of manslaughter, while Adam is charged with second-degree murder.
The charges stem from an incident on Sept. 28, when Saskatoon police were called to St. Paul’s Hospital around 3:30 a.m. A male youth had been brought in with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.
His death marked the city’s eighth homicide of 2025.
