REGINA — The charges against Chris Fahlman in the highway shooting case now move to Weyburn court in December.
Fahlman made a brief appearance by video in Regina Provincial Court Thursday afternoon, with the next court date scheduled at that time for 10 a.m. Dec. 9 in Weyburn.
This follows an appearance in Regina court the previous morning, at which time all charges were stayed on the previous information and two new charges were laid on a new information. Fahlman now faces one count of second degree murder and one count of intentionally discharging a firearm while being reckless as to the life or safety of another person.
Fahlman is accused in connection to the death of 44-year-old Tanya Myers in September. According to the RCMP, Myers was a passenger in one of two vehicles that were struck by bullets while driving on Highway 39.
