PELICAN NARROWS — Pelican Narrows RCMP are looking to identify an ATV and its occupant in relation to a shooting in the Pelican Narrows detachment area.
On Nov. 11 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP received a report of a man with gunshot wounds who arrived at a medical centre in Pelican Narrows.
Officers responded and located the injured man who had injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature. The investigation determined at approximately 11:15 a.m., two individuals on an ATV approached the medical centre. One of the occupants, the injured man, got off the ATV and walked to the medical centre. The other individual drove away on the ATV.
Pelican Narrows RCMP are looking to speak with the other individual on the ATV. The individual was last seen wearing a striped or checkered helmet while travelling on a dark-coloured ATV. Officers are asking the public for assistance in identifying them. A photo of the ATV is shown.
