SASKATOON — A 21-year-old man is facing numerous charges following a significant drug trafficking investigation led by the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT).
At approximately 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 6, members of the CRT, supported by the SPS Tactical Support Unit, initiated an enforcement action in the Stonebridge neighbourhood, in the 1100 block of Kolynchuk Link.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and found in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and various items associated with drug trafficking.
After his arrest, police executed a search warrant at a home and seized $22,513 CAD, 743.2 grams of fentanyl, 552.9 grams of methamphetamine, 362 grams of cocaine, 750 mL of gamma-hydroxybutyrate, multiple mobile phones, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
Police say the accused has been charged with several drug and proceeds of crime-related offences.
