PELICAN NARROWS — Pelican Narrows RCMP are investigating a shooting that occurred outside a residence in Pelican Narrows.
On Nov. 11 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP received a report of an individual with a gunshot wound at a residence in Pelican Narrows.
Officers responded, along with local EMS. The investigation determined an interaction occurred between a man and an unknown individual near a residence on Nesoteo Road. A firearm was discharged, injuring the man. The man was taken to a medical centre by EMS with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
Pelican Narrows RCMP continue to investigate.

Another recent case occurred on Nov. 11, when Pelican Narrows RCMP responded to a report of a man with gunshot wounds who arrived at a medical centre in Pelican Narrows.
Pelican Narrows RCMP are actively investigating both shootings. At this time, it has not been determined whether the two incidents are connected.
