YORKTON — Update, Dec. 17: Yorkton RCMP seek the public's assistance following a fatal collision involving a pedestrian.
Yorkton RCMP continue to investigate a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and ask the public to contact them if they have any information.
The collision took place on Nov. 15, on Mayhew Avenue in Yorkton. The pedestrian was later pronounced deceased at hospital.

Original post, Nov. 16: RCMP are investigating a fatal collision after an 86-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Mayhew Avenue on Nov. 15.
Yorkton RCMP say they received the report at approximately 5:40 p.m. Officers responded immediately, and the pedestrian was taken to hospital by EMS. He was later pronounced dead. Police say the man was from Yorkton and his family has been notified.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
