REGINA — Fresh off their 25–17 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the 112th Grey Cup, the Roughriders brought the trophy home to Mosaic Stadium today where fans lined up early for a chance to see their champions.
Quarterback Trevor Harris, named the game’s MVP, led the team onto the stage as players held the cup high and thanked Rider Nation for its unwavering support.
The atmosphere was electric. Fans filled the plaza, coaches and players spoke about the grit and heart behind the win, and the crowd erupted again and again as the cup was lifted into the air.
A relentless defence, timely plays, and a province of supporters helped deliver the championship.
Today’s homecoming felt like a shared victory for every Rider fan who turned out to celebrate.
