RCMP seek public’s help after pedestrian hit by vehicle

CUMBERLAND HOUSE CREE NATION – Cumberland House RCMP are asking the public to report information about a collision that resulted in a pedestrian being seriously injured.

On No. 19 at around 8 p.m., Cumberland House RCMP received a report of an injured individual on Cumberland House Cree Nation.

Officers immediately responded. A male was located near a roadway and was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

Investigation has determined the male was injured as a result of a pedestrian-vehicle collision. The involved vehicle did not remain at the scene of the collision.

Officers would like to speak with anyone with information or who saw any suspicious activity on Cumberland House Cree Nation during the evening of Nov. 19.
