REGINA — The Royal Canadian Armed Forces (RCAF) will be flying over this year’s Vanier Cup in Regina.
On Saturday at approximately 1:10 p.m., the CC-130H Hercules will be flown over Mosaic Stadium for the championship game.
The RCAF says residents could see a grey four-engine propeller-driven plane flying at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle in its path.
Flybys are carefully planned and closely controlled to ensure public safety. Any aircraft participation is subject to weather and operational requirements.
The RCAF says they’re proud to share in these events, as flybys allow them to demonstrate the capabilities of their personnel and aircraft to Canadians.
