REGINA — Regina marked its 10th annual Christmas tree lighting with a huge crowd in Victoria Park, celebrating the event’s first year in its new location. More than 1,000 lights glowed from the towering tree as families enjoyed Tim Hortons hot chocolate and cookies, children visited with Santa, and the park filled with bright, cheerful energy.
The celebration previously took place at F.W. Hill Mall, but the move to the park instantly elevated the experience. The open space, warm crowd and festive atmosphere created a simple, welcoming start to the season. You can learn more and see it for yourself in our short SaskToday video.
