REGINA–Regina’s REAL District is gearing up for one of its busiest weeks of the year, and visitors are being urged to plan ahead for parking and transportation.
From Saturday, November 22 to Saturday, November 29, increased demand for on-site parking is expected as Canadian Western Agribition takes over the district, alongside several major public events. Organizers are strongly encouraging visitors to explore alternative transportation and parking options to avoid delays.
What’s Happening at REAL District
The Canadian Western Agribition move-in begins Saturday and runs through December 1, with shows and move-out taking place district-wide. Other events this weekend include:
- Vanier Cup – Saturday, November 22 at Mosaic Stadium, kickoff at 1 p.m.
- Pat Canadians vs. Tisdale – Saturday and Sunday at Co-operators Centre.
Parking and Access for Vanier Cup
Fans attending the Vanier Cup should note that access will be through the Lewvan Drive and Elphinstone Street entrances. Parking will be available in Lot D, south of the Brandt Centre. For added convenience, fans can register for the Park ‘n Ride Fan Bus from the University of Regina. Details are available at uregina.ca.
Agribition Transportation Options
Canadian Western Agribition runs November 24 to 29, and organizers are encouraging visitors to use alternate transportation options, including:
- Agribition Express Shuttle – Pick-up and drop-off at Northgate Mall, Victoria Square Mall, and Southland Mall.
- Public Transit – Check City of Regina Transit for routes and schedules.
- Rideshare & Taxi Services – Uber, Capital Cabs, Co-op Taxi, and Rider Cabs.
- Carpooling – Share a ride with friends or family.
- Park Offsite – Be mindful of surrounding neighborhoods; do not block driveways or crosswalks.
On-site parking is included with gate admission but may be limited in Lots B, D, and L. Accessible parking will be available in front of the Bunge International Trade Centre (Lot E), on the west side of Confederation Park (Lot F), outside the AffinityPlex (Lot L), and on the west side of the Brandt Centre.
