RM OF RENO — Maple Creek RCMP are investigating a fatal collision in the RM of Reno.
On Nov. 24 at approximately 10:15 a.m., Maple Creek RCMP received a report of a collision at the intersection of two grid roads in the RM of Reno.
The investigation determined two pick-up trucks collided in the intersection.
The driver of one of the trucks was declared dead by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 71-year-old from Maple Creek. His family has been notified. A passenger in this truck was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
The driver of the other truck, who was the sole occupant, was transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
Maple Creek RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
