RCMP ask for public’s help after serious assault on Sweetgrass FN

SWEETGRASS FIRST NATION – Battlefords RCMP is investigating a serious assault on Sweetgrass First Nation.

On Nov.r 20 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a serious assault at a residence on Sweetgrass First Nation.

Officers immediately responded, along with EMS. When they arrived at the residence, they located a male, who was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

Investigation determined the victim was assaulted by another individual, who fled the scene. Battlefords RCMP continue to actively investigate this incident.
