REGINA — Canada’s largest livestock show closed Saturday with its barns packed, arenas buzzing, and the Canadian Western Agribition delivering a week of heavy-hitting results, serious commerce, and a full-throated celebration of ranch life.
The highlight came in the final hours with the CN Supreme Show crowning a mighty Charolais bull and a Simmental cow as Supreme Champions, standing above a field of 103 entries spanning 11 breeds. A total purse of $20,000 underscored the stakes.
On the rodeo side, the four-night Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo drew sell-out crowds, and the announcement that the show will remain in Regina through 2030 sealed Agribition’s future as Western Canada’s top rodeo stage.
Beyond the rings and show floors, thousands of visitors pushed through the trade aisles, meeting exhibitors, browsing ag gear, and forging deals across crops, cattle, and ranch tech. Preliminary numbers suggest attendance beat 2024’s record, making this one of the biggest Agribition weeks in history.
