REGINA — A 20-year-old woman is facing charges after a robbery over the weekend in Regina.
At about 7:40 p.m. on Nov. 28, police were called to a business in the 1200 block of Albert Street for a report of a robbery in progress. When Regina police officers arrived, they found a woman who had been assaulted with a knife and punched. The suspect fled the scene with the victim’s cell phone before police arrived.
EMS treated the woman at the scene for what appeared to be minor injuries.
A short time later, officers found the suspect nearby and arrested her without further incident.
She was charged with robbery and failing to comply with court conditions. She appeared in Regina court on Dec. 1.
