REGINA — The 54th edition of Canadian Western Agribition is one for the record books.
A new attendance benchmark was set for this year’s event, with 151,037 visitors coming through the gates at REAL District. Agribition was held Nov. 24-29.
It breaks the previous mark of approximately 145,000 in 2024.
In a news release, CEO Shaun Kindopp thanked everyone who came to Agribition, from the visitors to exhibitors, sponsors, the more than 400 volunteers and the full-time and part-time staff who “pour their heart into this event.”
Kindopp says the new attendance record is a “remarkable achievement and a testament to the work of everyone involved.”
Organizers noted the Maple Leaf Finals Rodeo hosted three sold-out nights, including two nights that were sold out well in advance. The first night, Wednesday, was free.
Agribition also welcomed a “record number” of students through the Family Ag Pavilion, “many of whom experienced agriculture up close for the very first time.”
Organizers say they’re now preparing for “another fresh, engaging, and unique Agribition experience for 2026.”
