REGINA — Regina’s Winter/Spring Leisure Guide is now available.
The guide offers hundreds of different reorientation programs, which include accessibility, affordability, and fun.
“Recreation remains essential to the well-being of the community, and the Leisure Guide helps residents find both indoor and outdoor programs that fit their interests, abilities and schedules,” said Diana Burton, director of recreation & cultural services.
Burton also mentioned that the city’s over 1,700 registered programs offer an inclusive option for everyone.
Registration for the guide opens on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7 a.m. for Regina Residents. Non-Regina residents can register starting on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 7 a.m.
All programs will run from January until May 2026.
Included in this year’s guide is new programming, including:
- Adapted Virtual Chair Yoga: Chair-based yoga class delivered via Zoom for adults with disabilities or those facing barriers to recreation
- Stott Pilates: A 16 and up program focused on core strength, flexibility and mind-body awareness.
- Pickleball: A program which welcomes beginners to Pickleball. Classes are available for adults 16 and over, children 5 to 7 and youth ages 10 to 14.
Other popular programs are also returning, including Stained Glass and Leisure Swim.
