PRUD'HOMME —The Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network are reporting the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety – Conservation Officers are investigating after a moose was shot and left to waste near Prud'homme.
On Nov. 30, Saskatoon Conservation Officers received information from the public reporting a moose that was found dead northeast of Prud’homme.
Officers attended the scene and determined through investigation that the bull moose was shot in a field, then dragged on the road for approximately five kilometres to a separate field and left.
Officers believe the moose was shot between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 30. Officers have collected evidence at the scenes.
