PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert RCMP says it is working to locate Brennan Sewap, who is wanted in relation to a robbery with a firearm.
According to the RCMP, on Dec. 4 at approximately 4 a.m., the Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a firearm being discharged at a residence on Muskoday First Nation.
The RCMP says an investigation determined three men wearing face coverings forcibly entered the residence and discharged a firearm and bear mace. The suspects pointed a firearm at an occupant inside and demanded the victim’s belongings, including a phone and wallet. The suspects left the residence; their direction and method of travel was unknown. No physical injuries were reported to police.
The Prince Albert RCMP says it continues to investigate.
Sewap, a 36-year-old man from Saskatoon, is charged with one count each of robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, discharging a firearm while being reckless, administering a noxious thing, breaking and entering with intent, wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence and possession of a firearm when knowing it was unauthorized. He is also charged with three counts of weapons possession contrary to an order. All charges are under the Criminal Code.
A warrant has been issued for Sewap’s arrest. Prince Albert RCMP are working to locate him and are asking the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts.
Sewap is described as being 6’5” and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair, and multiple tattoos of lettering, including script on the right side of his neck, and tattoos of guns on both his hands.
